Just when I tell myself to stay out of the Goodwill store, I find something like THIS! I love this plate and it's just perfect for my kitchen. The blue color makes me think of summer time, I love the bird as my husband has turned into an avid birdwatcher (does that mean he's old?), and the sunflowers remind me of my friend, Trish, in Kansas. I love this plate! I love having a Goodwill store in town.... I drive into town at least 2-3 times a week, and the Goodwill store is always a stop I make. You just never know what new treasures have arrived from day to day. So, forget it... I'm not staying out of Goodwill.
I agree that plate is absolutely right for you... all the sunflowers you have painted..you could have done this plate..
ReplyDeleteLove the plate! I know the feeling...one side of you says "don't go in" but of course the other side is pushing you in the door and reminding you of what you might miss out on!
ReplyDeleteLooks like something I would buy.
ReplyDeleteI love sunflowers and birdhouses.
I see the little ladybug too. Is it a ME (Mary Engelbreit)
That is sooo cute! Yes, I know what you mean, I told myself I'd stay out of thrigt stores this week-end...didn't happen!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful plate! I just bought my sunflower seeds today. Anxious to plant them.
ReplyDeleteI love Goodwill!!! I have found some cute things for my kitchen there too. Every once in a while you'll run across something "special."
ReplyDeleteIt's neat to know your church was there in the meeting. Makes me feel a little closer to ya. LOL

LOL! No, your husband isn't old because he's enjoying watching the birds. My daughter took up bird watching at 10 and has loved it ever since and even got us interested. Now we have birds nesting all over the place! :)
ReplyDeleteI love that plate too! Great colors!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Applejack Lane today. I use my blog for a variety of things-one being for the family to stay in contact with one another. Please stop by anytime and follow if you wish!
