These have to be my favorite flowers growing in my flower beds. I planted these the first year we were here and they have come back a little fuller each time for the past two years. For them to have such a delicate look, I am surprised at how prickly the centers feel.
I am a huge fan of purple coneflowers too! Yours look great.
ReplyDeleteYou have a real green thumb there Ms. Penny! I have lots of plants, but no purple coneflowers have lived so far! I need to try again. You've inspired me. Maybe I could grow some from seed and get them established before first frost... Another dream!
ReplyDeleteLove the flowers--really beautiful
ReplyDeleteI thought they were Daisies, I have to get out my plant book and do my home work! They are really pretty.pen pen.

ReplyDeleteMy mom has lots and lots of purple cone flowers this year. Yours are lovely! I am going to have to get some of those in my yard next year!
ReplyDeletepen pen,
ReplyDeleteYea those are spool dolls, I seem to have acquired them, and I don't even collect them. Can't figure out how that happens. I will post a picture tomorrow or Monday of them, a closer look anyway.
