Simply Pretty!

My daughter is doing some decorating in my son's empty room. We plan to use that room as a tv room. (and maybe we'll squeeze in a corner for sewing???) She already had this very large glass bowl that someone had given to her. She filled it with coffee beans ($5 from TJ Maxx) and put a pretty candle inside. The aroma is wonderful! Whenever I walk into the room, I take a deep breath and smell the coffee!

That is pretty... and coffee smell too... I wonder if I could smell that?

Saw your comment on my blog. Just bring the DVD with you.... I can copy it on my computer... I would like to see it again... King Curtis will not be soon forgotten around here!

He should have his own tv show..LOL

That's such a great idea! I love the smell of coffee, but only allow myself to have it in the morning - and usually in a rush out the door. This way, I could smell it anytime! Thanks for the pretty idea!

I can smell it in my mind. That would be better than a candle, because you wouldn't have to worry about fire. It would smell good all the time. Good idea!

Hi pen Pen,
Oh good another idea, now I'm probably off to buy coffee beans. I have the jar and the candle.
Yes that little cast iron pan is cute, I have ten of them down stairs, all Amish ones. I don't see them anymore, but at one time I was finding them at garage sales.
I really think you should come by and go to the thrift with me, wouldn't that be fun?
