My daughter is doing some decorating in my son's empty room. We plan to use that room as a tv room. (and maybe we'll squeeze in a corner for sewing???) She already had this very large glass bowl that someone had given to her. She filled it with coffee beans ($5 from TJ Maxx) and put a pretty candle inside. The aroma is wonderful! Whenever I walk into the room, I take a deep breath and smell the coffee!
That is pretty... and coffee smell too... I wonder if I could smell that?
ReplyDeleteSaw your comment on my blog. Just bring the DVD with you.... I can copy it on my computer... I would like to see it again... King Curtis will not be soon forgotten around here!
He should have his own tv show..LOL
That's such a great idea! I love the smell of coffee, but only allow myself to have it in the morning - and usually in a rush out the door. This way, I could smell it anytime! Thanks for the pretty idea!
ReplyDeleteI can smell it in my mind. That would be better than a candle, because you wouldn't have to worry about fire. It would smell good all the time. Good idea!
ReplyDeleteWonderful idea~I can almost smell it looking at the picture!
ReplyDeleteHi pen Pen,
ReplyDeleteOh good another idea, now I'm probably off to buy coffee beans. I have the jar and the candle.
Yes that little cast iron pan is cute, I have ten of them down stairs, all Amish ones. I don't see them anymore, but at one time I was finding them at garage sales.
I really think you should come by and go to the thrift with me, wouldn't that be fun?
What a great idea!!
