Grandma, Grandpa, and Baby Avery

We went back to the hospital to see our grandson this morning. This was the first time that Grandpa was able to hold him. It was truly an awesome experience for him....don't tell anybody, but when we were leaving, my husband had tears in his eyes. :o)

    When my first daughter was born, my mom called the grocery store where my dad worked and had them page 'the newest grandpa in the store' to the phone to tell him the news.

    Congratulations! I have 6 grandchildren and Love being grandma..with ages that range from 21years to 1 year old....from 3 of my children.. I came onto your blog through NancyJo.s Love your site.     Congratulations! I just LOVE babies and can't wait for grandbabies. I've told my girls for years that I am going to be "Grammy". But they are telling me 5 more years I'll have to wait. :( Have fun with little Avery!
