Okay, here's another dorky post, but everyone NEEDS one of these! I bought this plastic bag holder at the same consignment shop where I bought the rolling pin below. It looks like a dish towel that has been sewn to make a tube. It has a drawstring top and elastic bottom. I have it filled with all my plastic shopping bags (that usually get stuffed here and there in my laundry room ) for easy storage and easy dispensing! It was only $3 and probably could be made for less that that. I'm one step closer to getting my house organized, which is my goal for January. (I'm taking next week off from work to accomplish this goal!) Just thought you would like to know. :o)
Sounds like you're going to have a fun week! Haha. I've seen these bag holders before... My mom has gone through several, but in the end we have one like yours! Wish I could take off work and help you next week!!!
ReplyDeleteAren't those bagholders handy?!? I keep one in the kitchen and one in the garage and they are always full--despite the fact that I use cloth market bags for my groceries!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the bag holder. I really love the roosters on it. My husband's nickname is Rooster so you can imagine some of the rooster items in our home. We actually have a small trash can that hangs under the counter that has a place to store bags underneath. Anything that gets them out from underneath the sink or the bottom of the closet floor.
ReplyDeleteI like your new page layout! Blue is my favorite color ;P
ReplyDeletePenny thanks for the encouraging words!
ReplyDeleteHi Pen,
ReplyDeleteWell of course we want to know! Getting organized is a good thing, the better thing is you having a week off!! whoopie!!!

Good for you...getting organized. Love the rolling pin.
ReplyDeleteA week off to work in your home sounds so exciting to me! Enjoy! Also love the bag holder. We have one but not pretty like yours!
ReplyDeleteHey, hey hey! Watch what you're calling "dorky"! I happen to like reading this author's posts - and I have one of those bag-holders too! Fun huh? You always know where your bags are anyway. I have gone so far (before I had one) to use empty tissue boxes (the taller ones) I'd stuff the bags in there and try to pull one at a time out...worked until one day Hubby needed a tissue and ended up sneezing into a plastic bag! LOL!
