Yes, I stopped by the Goodwill store yesterday when I went to buy groceries. I bought this little glass dish for .49 cents. I then bought a bag of candy pumpkins for $1.88. Isn't this cute sitting on my sewing machine table? I love cheap thrills!
Looks cute sitting there! We love cheap!!

I always love to get candy corn this time of year. I have some sitting on my desk right now, but its in an ugly plastic container, not a pretty one like yours!
ReplyDeleteSo cute, but the candy wouldn't last long for me... those are my favorties for the season!!!
ReplyDeleteI bought candy corn on Tuesday and have already eaten half of it... LOL
ReplyDeleteCute and cheap~what could be better?! I'm planning on going cheap this week when I go shopping for some fall decorations. Well, I'll go shopping if it ever quite raining~!
ReplyDeletecheap thrills are priceless!!!!!and yours are cute too.
ReplyDeleteNot only do I like cheap thrills, I love candy pumpkins! So you totally scored :-)
ReplyDeleteHi PEN,
ReplyDeleteCute things from the thrift and I love the gifts you got in the mail. I just love mail don't you?
Its funny about the candy costing more then the jar. Last year I bought a beautiful wrought Iron candle holder that needed six candles. I paid a few dollars for the holder and twenty for the candles. But I'm pretty sure thats ok. So never mind.

That is a cute idea! My hubby has a sweet tooth so they wouldn't last long! Cindy
ReplyDeleteI envy your nice and neat sewing table! I can only dream of such a thing. Pumpkins are OK, but I prefer the candy corn, especially if it is mixed together with peanuts, it tastes like you're eating a payday candy bar. Put a container of them on the table and they won't last long.
ReplyDeleteHonestly that's amazing for .49 cents! It looks very cute!

Great buy!!!
ReplyDeleteNow tell me, how many times have you had to REFILL the jar? lol
