Chandler Boo Boo

Chandler

This is what happens when a sweet boy falls onto Grandma's brick fireplace.  I've been looking at Pinterest for ideas on how to pad the bricks.  Has anyone else done this?  This is definitely my urgent project for next week.  So glad it wasn't worse than it was... so sorry, sweet boy!  I love you.

  1. Oh my sweet baby Chan Chan... I know that almost killed you, Penny. I remember that time April cut her finger on my stove.. I still haven't figured out how she did that.. but I know how scared I was and how upset that she did it on something at my house. Those brick hearths around everyone's fireplace have always look like hazards to me, but I have no idea on how to pad them. I'm sure that will not be the only bump Chan will get at your house or even mine... although it looks bad... it isn't as bad as it could have been.. so sorry it happened ... Kiss my baby's sweet boo boo for me. I love y'all!!

  2. Poor little guy. I can't think of anything other that laying a thick blanket over the brick.

  3. Oh my! Brick fireplaces are always a problem for that. Maybe you could put a folded quilt on there. Sweet boy!

  4. Its a good thing God made children able to heal quickly. At that age they just stumble around constantly. Poor baby! Have you tried Googling some idea for covering the bricks on your hearth? I think a folded quilt would work well until he gets his sea legs at least. :)

    Hope that works!
