I need to buy pillows: this is a new bedspread with shams... the beige pillow covers were another thrift store find. I have to find pillow forms to tuck inside. I love these! You see a small scrap of valance fabric on the bed too.

Guest Room Preview
Here is a preview of my new guest room. The valances were made from two panels that I picked up from a thrift store. I cut them down last night and it was one of the easiest projects I've ever done. I have another panel leftover that I may make pillows with; not sure. $5 The tops are different on my valances, but I think I like them. If I decide otherwise, I can make another pocket valance like the one over the window seat. I do plan to put a new cushion on the window seat... this one came with the house and is pretty old. The two pillows you see below went with the room's old color scheme. They will be going to my daughter's house soon.
L.O.V.E. the color scheme! Pretty!
ReplyDeleteThat's a fantastic frame you got for $1. So ornate. Your guestroom is looking lovely!

Got room for a crib in there? It is looking very pretty...
ReplyDeleteLooking good. Love the Westie pillow.
ReplyDeleteLove it so far, I love the way the window is set back into a cubby. Your wall color looks like the color we used on our bedrooms.
ReplyDeleteYour guest room is looking great! What a wonderful idea for the valances.
ReplyDeleteHI pen pen,
ReplyDeleteLooks real nice, see how handy and creative you are? Did you make the pillows with the other panel?

Love that mirror! Those valances are nice.
ReplyDeleteLove your taste in colors chosen. I think little pillows made out of the valance extra against the beige shams would be pretty... or valance material on your window seat. LOVE the window seat...
