I know this isn't as exciting to some as it is to me, but I finally got my new clothesline installed! I haven't owned one in ten years and have truly missed having one. My husband had someone make the posts and he put it up for me last week! I won't use it all the time, but I LOVE the smell of fresh sheets that have dried on the clothesline!
I never want another clothes line. No breeze in this back yard with trees on 3 sides so all my clothes hung straight and stiff when it came time to take them in... not to mention the ones that had to be done over because of the birds. Can you imagine me with a clothes line, now with all the traffic that goes through my back yard?

ReplyDeleteI grew up having clothes lines and I loved seeing the clothes drying on them. I would love to have a clothes line again. Maybe I can talk my dh in to making me one. Yours is great!
