Christmas Cactus

A friend from work gave me a few pieces of her Christmas cactus some time last year. She told me she didn't know what color she had given me, because she had several colors she had pulled from. So, I stuck it in a pot and basically forgot about it.... watering it from time to time. Well, here it is... I've never seen one with such a peachy color and I've never had one bloom this close to Christmas! Thank God for the simple pleasures that make us smile.

  4. I have a couple that bloomed too! Yours looks great. I didn't realize they would root so easily. I should try to make some more pots for next year.

ps: Carolina Country Magazine sent me 3 copies in the mail. :o)

  6. How neat to have it bloom in peach! I can't seem to keep houseplants alive.
