Patriotic Pretty

Check out this neglected barn on the edge of our new little town in NC. This little town boasts that it has the biggest fireworks display in the area on July 4th. I find it hard to believe when I see the size of this town (a.k.a. community, crossroads, hole in the wall, speck on the map, etc). I'll be looking forward to next July 4th, just to see if they are honest! I love this barn!

  4. I agree Penny. Old barns have their own rustic beauty. I love the flag on this one. I also love to see wreaths on old buildings.

  6. I love it too! :) Is that a real flag or is it painted? However it is, it's lovely.

Can't wait to hear how the fireworks next July turn out. Our little town has an awesome display, I think, too.

  9. I love barns, too. Our neighborhood Mail Pouch Tobacco Barn fell a few weeks ago. I'm going to miss seeing each day. I love the flag on this one. Our little town is very patriotic and it goes way overboard on 4th of July, "the biggest small town celebration in the state." The President even came to it a few years back.
