Quilt Shop

This was another fun shop we visited while in Williamsburg last week. I am not a very experienced quilter, so I often feel lost in quilt shops, but I still love to go inside to browse. I have found that most all quilters are nice people and are very friendly and helpful to those of us who really don't know what we are doing!

  1. My mom was a huge quilter! I can't sew hardly at all! But you are right, I have found all quilters will the talk and share their knowledge on quilting.

p.s. I get all my items to mosaic at flea markets, thrift stores, antique malls, estate sales, auctions...etc..I am always on the look out for something to cover in mosaics!

  3. I love to go into quilt shops too. There's one in Selma, NC called Whistle Stop Quilt shop, but was closed when we were in that area one Sunday afternoon. I bet you enjoyed looking around and I bet you are just as good at quilting as those people in the store. You're just too modest!!!
