Pink Flowers

These have to be my favorite flowers growing in my flower beds. I planted these the first year we were here and they have come back a little fuller each time for the past two years. For them to have such a delicate look, I am surprised at how prickly the centers feel.

You have a real green thumb there Ms. Penny! I have lots of plants, but no purple coneflowers have lived so far! I need to try again. You've inspired me. Maybe I could grow some from seed and get them established before first frost... Another dream!

My mom has lots and lots of purple cone flowers this year. Yours are lovely! I am going to have to get some of those in my yard next year!

pen pen,
Yea those are spool dolls, I seem to have acquired them, and I don't even collect them. Can't figure out how that happens. I will post a picture tomorrow or Monday of them, a closer look anyway.
